Japanese Soldier (Hinomaru Yosegaki) Good Luck Flag - This sewn cotton with a kanji inscription, though minimal, is typical of the many "Good Luck Flag" brought back from the Pacific Theater by returning GIs. This example was formerly on display at the US Army Ranger Museum in New York City.
