Sub-collection: Star Spangled Banner Flag HouseThis yellow nylon flag is decorated with gold fringe (1.75") and bears the logo of the Maryland Bicentennial Commission. The design combines the gold and black figures and red and white crosses from the coat of arms of Maryland with a white American star. (See the Maryland arms by referring to ZFC0090.)
The Bicentennial Commission organized celebrations, publications, etc.in Maryland commemorating the 200th anniversary of independence for the United States. The flag dates from those years (1975-1976).
