United States // NASA Hat /
Catalog Description
United States NASA Hat Apollo 11 Moon Mission. The NASA hat, (ZFC2526), was acquired as one was worn by one of the Apollo 11 crew members during the mission to the moon.
However, the hat bears the 1975 NASA Logo; not the 1959 logo in use at the time of the Apollo 11 landing, indicating that this hat, although from an Apollo 11 astronaut, dates from after the historic flight.
The camera, (ZFC2525), Neil Armstrong used on the Apollo 11 moon mission during which he took the now famous photograph of Buzz Aldrin standing on the moon facing Neil Armstrong with Armstrong's reflection in the visor.
