USAF guidon, 432 Recon Tech Sqdrn.

The 432nd Tactical Reconnaissance Wing (TRW) of the U.S. Air Force was initialized during the Vietnam War at Udon Royal Thai Air Force Base on 18 September 1966 with an intelligence mission. Their aircraft were used for tactical reconnaissance and accounted for 80% of the date acquired over North Vietnam.

They were a diversified unit that also had a fighter component; an airborne command & control unit, and a special operations squadron, making one of the USAFs most capable organizations.

The three Vietnam era USAF Aces all came from the 432d - two from the 555th and one from the 13th. The squadron returned to the United States in the fall of 1972.

The Streamer attached has the "V" for valor.
