Flag line depicting flags of the British Empire on a line for stringing. Flags included not in order) are United Kingdom, rampant lion of Scotland, red dragon of Wales, New Zealand, Canada, and Union of South Africa. In between each national flag are plain monochromatic triangular pennants.
It is likely that this flag line was made after 1921, based on the design of the shield of the Canadian flag. It is also highly likely that this a fragment of a longer flag line as notably absent from the nations included are India and Australia
