Mass produced cotton sheeting flags were introduced in this era of the Spanish-American War. A low cost alternative to wool bunting, shheting flags were often sold in hone display kits, or used in classrooms as the school Flag Movement came to fruition in this era.

This noteworthy flag was gifted to the Zaricor Flag Collection by Virginia Young Cureton, RN & DPH. It was formerly the property of her mother, Isabel Block Young who acquired it on April 17, 1971.
