U.S. 45 star flag - Charles Styles.
Originally owned by Charles Styles who presented it as a gift to his daugther Hattie Amanda Styles Dana. Mrs. Dana gave the flag to her daughter Mrs. Walter Whetstone at the time she was beaking up housekeeping. Mrs. Whetstone through her sister, Mrs. A. R. Leighton, presented the flag to the Flag House on Aug 7, 1970
Flag was gift to the mother of Mrs. Leighton and Mrs. Whetstone by her father on a birthday. Flag circa 1890's.
