Map prepared under the brutal Siege of Badajoz during the Napoleonic Wars.
The siege was one of the bloodiest of the entire conflict and was fought between the Anglo-Portuguese Army under the Command of the Earl of Wellington and the French garrison under General Armand Phillipon.
