U.S. New England Flag Sling 2-C - 2nd NH Infantry.
From a group of accessories for a "Stand of Colors". The Madaus collection of Civil War Flags also includes flag staffs, cords & tassels, and flag slings. This flag sling was acquired from Frederick Benkovic of Milwaukee in 1972 who attributed it to the 2nd NH Volunteer Infantry.
