This rare 44 star U.S. jack was formerly flag #18 of the acclaimed collection of noted antique dealer Mr. Boleslaw Mastai. The jack of the U.S. is a maritime flag representing U.S. nationality flown on the jackstaff in the bow of its vessels. The size of the jack is always the same as the size of the canton.
