13 Star U.S. Flag - Grand Luminary design, Revolutionary & Early Federal Period.This 13 Star Flag duplicates the star arrangement in the Glory of the 1782 Great Seal of the U.S. The 13 stars are arranged in a "grand luminary," a pre- cursor to the Great Star design.This flag is dated to between 1782 and 1790.

17 Star, 17 Stripe U.S. Ensign, Privateer Blockade, War of 1812 captured by Captain James Clephan, HMS Charybdis This flag is significant for its rarity and symbolic importance. There are no other 17-stars with 17-stripes known U.S. flags to survive.

U.K. Exceptionally rare Union Jack flown on HMS Spartiate at the Battle of Trafalgar. A rare and finely preserved Union Jack flag which was flown from the jackstaff of HMS Spartiate at the battle of Trafalgar on the 21st October, 1805. It is the last documented flag to survive from that iconic battle.

Second National Ensign of the CSS Alabama, June 1864. This flag is the second and final ensign from the CSS Alabama's last battle, hoisted after the spinnaker gaff on which she wore her ensign was shot away. This smaller ensign, likely a boat flag, was eventually struck in a battle against the USS Kearsarge off the coast of France in 1864.

E Troop of the 10th U.S. Cavalry saw furious action in Cuba, with several of its men winning the Medal of Honor.

This Cavalry Guidon made in 1885 was flown by Troop F of the 7th United States Cavalry-probably the most storied of all U.S. Cavalry regiments, a fact known by the director John Ford when he chose to depict the 7th in the hair-raising rescue mission against Geronimo's Apaches.

50 Star U.S. Flag, The South Tower Flag, World Trade Center, NY. While searching through the rubble a volunteer with the FDNY discovered what he thought were fragments of clothing from one of the victims of the Sept. 11th terrorist attack. As he dug further, Bliss realized he had found the smoldering remains of a U.S. flag.
