ZFC2486 - This provisional Confederate flag was made by a Philadelphia maker between December 1860 and March 1861 in the anticipation of a peaceful separation of the erstwhile Confederate States in 1861.


ZFC0180 - The Confederate First National flag was created 4 March 1861; this seven star version was current until May 1861 and was likely used as a Camp Flag by the nascent Confederate Army.


ZFC1084 - This 9 star First National flag was taken in New Orleans in 1862, and is among the rarest of Confederate Flags as they were current for only three days in 1861.


ZFC0002 - This small, silk, 11 Star Confederate flag was brought home from the war by a Union soldier from Baltimore. Diminutive flags like this were often carried by soldiers of both sides in bibles


ZFC2591 - The jack of the CSS Patrick Henry, school ship of the Confederate States Navy, preserved by the Superintendant, Capt. William Harwar Parker.


ZFC2590 - This the ensign of the famous commerce raider, CSS Alabama, presented to the officer's English host after the 17 June 1864 Battle of Cherbourg when the Alabama sank after her poor gunpowder proved fatal.


ZFC2499 - This 13 star Confederate guidon, which reverses the traditional red over white field of mounted guidons, is one of only two known examples.


ZFC0510 - This Confederate made "English" Red Ensign was for use a ruse de guerre by a Civil War blockade.
